I trust that I have given the proper attribution to the photographer, Trish Steel. I was searching for a free image on Valentine's Day and this blackbird caught my eye.
I have learned to be very respectful of even free images online and how to check Creative Commons Attributions before posting any of them. Such images could compliment posters, brochures and reports at work to attract readers as I promote library services and programs. It would be great to store them for future use.

That certainly has all the elements of attribution, though no link back to the original image. The simplest way from Wikimedia Commons to get text for attribution is to click on the "Use the file on the web" icon. A screen pops up with the exact phrase to paste into your blog: Trish Steel [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons.
